6-2 Rotation 2: Setter 1 Sets from Middle back (Position 6)
In rotation 2 of the 6-2, setter 1 starts in position 6 (middle back). Setter 1 is in the back row and sets, so all three front-row players (outside hitter 2, setter 2 and middle blocker 1) can attack. Setter 2 hits from the right side, like an opposite. The outside hitter 1 serves.

Overlap check for rotation 2
At the moment of the serve, each front-row player must be closer to the net than the back-row player directly behind them (OH2 ahead of MB2, S2 ahead of S1, MB1 ahead of OH1), and each row must stay in order left to right (front: OH2, S2 and MB1; back: MB2, S1 and OH1). Every formation on this page follows these rules.
