6-2 Rotation 3: Setter 1 Sets from Left back (Position 5)
In rotation 3 of the 6-2, setter 1 starts in position 5 (left back). Setter 1 is in the back row and sets, so all three front-row players (middle blocker 2, outside hitter 2 and setter 2) can attack. Setter 2 hits from the right side, like an opposite. The middle blocker 1 serves.

Overlap check for rotation 3
At the moment of the serve, each front-row player must be closer to the net than the back-row player directly behind them (MB2 ahead of S1, OH2 ahead of OH1, S2 ahead of MB1), and each row must stay in order left to right (front: MB2, OH2 and S2; back: S1, OH1 and MB1). Every formation on this page follows these rules.
