6-2 Rotation 1: Setter 1 Sets from Right back (Position 1)
In rotation 1 of the 6-2, setter 1 starts in position 1 (right back). Setter 1 is in the back row and sets, so all three front-row players (setter 2, middle blocker 1 and outside hitter 1) can attack. Setter 2 hits from the right side, like an opposite. The setter 1 serves.

Overlap check for rotation 1
At the moment of the serve, each front-row player must be closer to the net than the back-row player directly behind them (S2 ahead of OH2, MB1 ahead of MB2, OH1 ahead of S1), and each row must stay in order left to right (front: S2, MB1 and OH1; back: OH2, MB2 and S1). Every formation on this page follows these rules.
